FAMILY TRIPS make valuable reminiscences. The difficult portion is deciding which place to go and methods to plan.

Have a AAA or other club card for hotel discounts. Be aware of which areas are safe for stopping for the evening if required.
Unplug small kitchen appliances (toaster, can opener, coffee maker).
