Do Not Miss Juicy Lucy’s Steakhouse Restaurant With the Best Glenwood Springs Lobster
After having eaten at Juicy Lucy’s Steakhouse restaurant time and time again, I am going to finally write a review for what I have decided is the best restaurant I have ever eaten at.
My business requires me to drive between Grand Junction and Denver weekly. I hit various clients along the way – mainly in the Roaring Fork Valley. Usually I leave Grand Junction by 6 am and go up valley to Aspen, where I begin my calls until I come back to Glenwood Springs – usually close to lunch time.

All my life I drifted toward big, nationwide chain restaurants because they are always fairly consistent. That’s a pretty good method in most parts of the country, and after meals at some local restaurants I thought it was a pretty wise move. I love new experiences as much as anyone, but I was very dissatisfied. Eventually I solicited opinions from Glenwood Springs inhabitants what local restaurants were popular. Obviously, I got loads of diverse opinions but the common thread was Juicy Lucy’s Steakhouse.
The local denizens invariably had good things to say about Juicy Lucy’s, and frankly, after finding the place my immediate reaction was remarkable. By immediately I mean I was impressed even in the parking lot. Juicy Lucy’s is conveniently found at the heart of the fun Glenwood Springs downtown community and just across the Colorado River from the massive Glenwood Hot Springs pool. It is only a short stroll to all kinds of fun shops and turn-of-the-century architecture. Juicy Lucy’s itself is located in a building that was constructed during the town’s heyday as a spa destination, adding to the ambiance in this historic town. Once inside, I was impressed with the casual yet efficient atmosphere. The inviting restaurant was a bustle of activity even at lunch, but the staff was gracious and polite, and we found a booth quickly.
Honestly, I have been there many times now and I have never waited over 15 minutes to be seated – even when I stopped in for dinner one Friday night en route to Grand Junction. And after being seated, the meals are exquisite. I have sampled everything from their large appetizer menu to their house specialties and have enjoyed it all. Juicy Lucy’s has an extensive wine selection – from delicious, inexpensive domestics to pricey but impeccable imports.
They have remodeled the bar area, and the place is bigger and even better. Even after many meals, I still stop at Juicy Lucy’s Steakhouse restaurant whenever I am in Glenwood Springs.
