Consistently Delicious Food at Juicy Lucy’s Steakhouse Restaurant With the Best Glenwood Springs Seafood
After dining at Juicy Lucy’s Steakhouse restaurant in Glenwood Springs a hundred times, I have finally decided to write my opinions for what I have decided is the best restaurant I have ever eaten at.
My business requires me to drive between Grand Junction and Denver weekly. I hit various clients along the way – primarily in the Roaring Fork Valley. Most mornings I leave Grand Junction by 6 am and make my way to Aspen, where I begin my calls until I come back to Glenwood Springs – usually near lunch time.

Since I was young I preferred big, countrywide chain restaurants because you always have a fairly firm notion of what you are going to get. That’s a pretty good method in most parts of the country, and after stops at some local restaurants I thought it was a pretty wise move. I enjoy diversity as much as anybody, but I was very dissatisfied. Finally I inquired with some Glenwood Springs residents what local restaurants were popular. Not surprisingly, I received many different opinions but a frequent note was Juicy Lucy’s Steakhouse.
The locals invariably praised Juicy Lucy’s, and truthfully, after finding the place my immediate reaction was remarkable. By immediately I suggest I was pleased even in the parking lot. Juicy Lucy’s is located right in the middle of the fun Glenwood Springs downtown community and just across the Colorado River from the huge Glenwood Hot Springs pool. It is only a short stroll to all kinds of fun shops and remarkable architecture. Juicy Lucy’s itself is housed in a structure that has been around over a hundred years, adding to the ambiance in this historic town. Once inside, I was impressed at how the place accommodated me and my guest. The cozy restaurant was a bustle of activity even at lunch, but the staff was gracious and polite, and we got a seat quickly.
Actually, I have been there more times than I can count and I have never had to wait long at all – even during the occasional dinner stop on the trip home. And after being seated, the meals are exquisite. I have tried everything from their extensive appetizer menu to their house specialties and have not once been disappointed. Juicy Lucy’s has a long wine list – from delicious, inexpensive domestics to more expensive but immaculate imports.
They have recently undergone a remodel and expansion, and the place looks better than ever. Regardless of how many times I have eaten there, I still stop at Juicy Lucy’s Steakhouse restaurant every time I eat in Glenwood Springs.
